Celery has a mild and a strong taste at the same time. Celery can be fun to eat if you enjoy the tingly sensation on your tongue. Celery has crunchy stalks with a high water content which makes it a popular low-calorie snack. The fiber in celery can benefit the digestive and cardiovascular systems. It is loaded with antioxidants and known as antiseptic in nature. It contained vitamin C, beta carotene, and flavonoids.
Use: a versatile vegetable: you can eat it raw and cooked. It is a great addition to smoothies, salads, stir-fries, soups, and juices. It can be steamed or baked. It is a great component to add when you make bone broth.
Storage: needs to be refrigerated as soon as possible, otherwise it will go limp. Wrap in a dry towel, place it in a plastic bag or wrap tightly in foil, and store in the fridge for up to 2-4 weeks. It can also be frozen for longer storage. If stalks are not crunchy enough, cut them into pieces and put them in a container and with cold water, cover with the lid, and store them in the fridge for a couple of days.
